Lakewood Park Educational and Recreational Complex was built to provide a modern camp facility on the Gippsland Lakes to cater for students of all ages as well as people from other groups such as families, church and corporate organisations.

The camp is located on a 100 hectare farming property overlooking Lake Victoria, part of Victoria's famous Gippsland Lakes. We are situated 16 kilometres from Bairnsdale or about 3½ hours drive from Melbourne and the camp is well away from neighbours or any people who could be wandering around.

The Lakewood Park Complex offers a range of facilities for clients looking for a coastal country venue for corporate, social or school groups, all in picturesque surroundings.

Lakewood Park was designed by teachers who are very experienced with school camps. Our camp is practical and enjoyed by the teachers and students alike.

The programs offered by Lakewood Park will give the students experiences that they will remember. Adventure and enjoyment are combined with safety and self-development as students participate in their selected activities.

Waterway Cruises

You can cruise the vast waterways of the Gippsland Lakes on the MV Lakes Odyssey, Lakewood Park�s own 65 passenger vessel.

We love to show touring groups some of the sights of our fabulous lakes. We can also help you celebrate that special occasion.

We can provide on board catering from finger food and cocktails to a seafood buffet, or we can stop at one of the villages beside the lakes for a meal.
